Indian billet export shipments: Nearly three-fold increase witnesses in CY ’20

The Indian billet exports have registered a y-o-y growth of 167% during CY ’20 to cross the six mn t mark on increased buying from China and SE Asian nations. China, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Italy and Philippines stood as the major importers of the Indian billets, while the exporters mostly included JSPL, RINL, SAIL, TATA, and JSW among others.
