Indian: Billet export shipments fall by 42%* m-o-m in Jan ’21

Indian billet exports during Jan ’21 stood around 163,000 t to register an m-o-m fall of 42%. The strong domestic demand reduced the export allocations of the majority of the Indian mills. Nepal stood as the predominant importer of the Indian billets. RINL and JSW stood as the prominent exporters during the period under consideration.
