Indian billet export prices rise further by $10-12 in a recent tender

Indian billet export prices have further climbed by $10-12/t in a recent spot sale, bloom export tender hosted by a state-owned mill, floated for 30,000 t quantity, 4SP grade, and 10 Jan ’21 shipments. According to SteeMint sources, the mill achieved a price level of $485-490/t, FoB India. SteelMint’s bi-weekly assessment on Tuesday for Indian billets (150*150mm, BF route, FoB east cost) was at $475-480/t.
