Billet markets in the country have not witnessed much of movement in most of the
places.
Raigarh and Rourkela: Moderate demand for the material is seen.
Hyderabad: Manufacturers cut Billet offers in line with Ingot
prices.
Chennai: Buying volumes is decent and price might show downward
trend in near term.
Bhilai and Jalna: Market is unpredictable at this point of time and there is
absolutely no inquiries at current offers.
Goa: Due to monsoon, sales of the semi finished material is
low.
Kandla & Bhavnagar: Shortage of material will result in
increase of offers and buying is expected to improve so that suppliers do not
run out of stock.
Buyers are cautious regarding new purchases and wish to buy material at some discount.
