Raipur-based steel wire rods manufacturers observed weak trade enquiries and transactions over the last couple of days, which resulted in the drop in prices today by INR 700/t to INR 61,500/t. Weak sentiment in the semi-finished steel market has halted trade activity and resellers are offering trade discounts in the spot market of over INR 1,500/t, SteelMint learnt from sources.
