Due to the lack of trade enquiries and transactions over the last couple of days Raipur-based steel wire rods manufacturers have been forced to reduce prices by INR 1,000/t to INR 66,000/t exw on 11 Mar’22. Weak market sentiments and fall in semi-finished steel prices resulted in muted trading activity which compelled the suppliers to increase trade discounts to over INR 2,500/t.
