The steel wire rod market in Raipur, Chhattisgarh witnessed active trade in today’s session after semis prices in northern region increased. Confirmed deals of around 6,500 t were reported by Raipur- and Raigarh-based suppliers in the price range of INR 50,800-51,200/t exw and FOR basis. Meanwhile, a few manufacturers raised offers by INR 200/t to INR 51,700/t exw as trading improved.
