Steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, increased offers today by INR 300-600/t to INR 49,300-49,600/t exw d-o-d. Recovery in buying enquiries and transactions was observed in the last couple of days and some mills adjusted their production, which created supply tightness in the spot market. This helped in pushing prices higher. However, suppliers are working in the range of INR 48,500-49,000/t exw, SteelMint learnt from sources.
