Steel wire-rod market in Raipur witnessed limited buying inquiries and transactions after manufacturers lifted prices today by INR 500/t to INR 48,000/t exw d-o-d. Prices remained supported on the back of rising steel billet prices for the consecutive second day. Tradable discounts by resellers are hovering in the range of INR 1,300-1,500/t.
