The steel wire rod market in Raipur witnessed weak buying enquiries and transactions today, despite attractive discounts offered by resellers. Discounts hovered at around INR 1,500-1,700/t d-o-d. Manufacturers kept their offer prices stable at INR 48,000/t exw. Weak sentiments in the steel billet market led to weakening trades in the market.
