Steel wire rod re-sellers in Raipur kept trade discounts at INR 1,700-1,800/t, unchanged on a d-o-d basis on regular procurement. However, mills have reduced official quoting by INR 500/t to INR 46,200/t. Most of the participants expect correction by around INR 800-1,000/t in the near term with slight variation, said trade channels.
