Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers reduced prices today by INR 500/t to INR 59,000/t d-o-d. Weak sentiments in the semi-finished steel market and higher discounts offered by the resellers forced manufacturers to decrease prices. However, trades and transactions improved today in the second half, with a marginal trade discount of INR 500/t being offered by the resellers.
