Induction route-steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur further increased prices today by INR 2,000/t to INR 61,000/t exw d-o-d. Consistent rise in raw material prices and moderate trading activity in the spot market resulted in this sharp hike. However, to improve profit margins, resellers, who procured the material on lower prices, offered trade discounts over INR 1,000/t, SteelMint learned.
