Domestic steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, increased prices today by INR 600/t to INR 48,200/t exw d-o-d, with trade discounts of INR 500-900/t being offered by sellers and resellers in the spot market. Rise in sponge iron and billet prices supported the rise in wire rod prices. But trade enquiries remain weak on higher prices, sources informed SteelMint.
