Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers observed lack of trade enquiries and transactions over the last couple of days which forced them to reduce prices by INR 500/t to INR 48,000/t exw on 29 Dec’21, sources told SteelMint. Besides, in order to boost trades in the spot market, suppliers offered discounts of INR 1,700-2,000/t.
