Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers have been witnessing lack of trade enquiries and transactions over the last couple of days forcing them to lower prices today by INR 200/t to INR 53,000/t on 1 Feb’22. In view of encouraging buying enquiries, attractive trade discounts have been floated in the spot market hovering around INR 1,200-1,500/t, sources told SteelMint.
