Induction furnace route steel wire rod manufacturers further lowered prices of wire rods today by INR 500/t on weak trade enquiries and transactions in the spot market. Current offer for wire rods stands at INR 59,000/t exw. On the other hand, in order to recover the losses, resellers offered trade discounts which are hovering around INR 1,500/t.
