India: Welspun Corp reports 8% y-o-y growth in steel pipes sales in Q1FY’25

Welspun Corp Ltd.’s (WCL’s) steel pipes sales volumes, which include India and US line pipes and India DI pipes, grew by 8% y-o-y to 229,000 tonnes (t) in Q1FY’25 against 212,000 t in Q1FY’24. The company’s EBITDA remained marginally stable y-o-y at INR 416 crore in Q1. Welspun’s current global order book for line pipes stands at 497,000 t valued at approximately INR 5,710 crore.
