Indian state-owned, Vizag Steel’s BF 2 is expected to be reignited within the coming week and a ramp-up period of 15 days will precede before it resumes full production probably by July-end, with capacity expected to reach 50-60%, SteelMint learns. In June, RINL produced around 250,000 t of crude steel of which 120,000-150,000t semis was earmarked for exports.
