Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel Plant, has scheduled an e-auction for around 2,900 t of pooled iron on 5 Nov’21. At the steelmaker’s previous auction conducted on 27 Oct, buyers booked 1,600 t at a weighted average price of INR 39,750/t exw. The bid price increased by INR 800/t compared to an earlier auction conducted on 23 Sep.
