State-owned leading long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has scheduled an e-auction for around 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 5 Oct’21.The steelmaker’s previous pig iron auction conducted on 1 Oct for around 1,500 t was concluded at INR 43,550/t exw. Domestic pig iron prices are at historic highs due to the rally in coal and coke prices.
