Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has scheduled an e-auction for around 1,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 16 Dec’21. The steelmaker’s previous pig iron auction conducted on 8 Dec for a similar quantity attracted bids at INR 37,000/t. Bid prices decreased by INR 3,500/t in comparison with an earlier auction held on 17 Nov.
