A leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel Plant, has scheduled an e-auction for around 1,550 t of pooled iron on 23 Sept’21. The auction scheduled on 18 Sept was not executed due to some technical glitch at the seller’s end. At the steelmaker’s previous auction conducted on 6 Sept, buyers booked 3,500 t at a weighted average price of INR 33,900/t exw.
