Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel, had invited a tender for export of 5,504 MT billet (IS2830 grade, 90*90mm) and material delivery scheduled by 30 Nov’17.
The due date of the tender was 2nd Nov’17 till 11:00 AM (IST).
According to market sources report to SteelMint, the tender has received weak response with nearly two rakes getting sold at around USD 440/MT (ex-mill).
Indian Bulk Billet Exports Increase 5% in Oct’17
Indian bulk billet exports moved up by 5% in the month of Oct’17. According to data maintained by SteelMint based on vessel line up at ports, Indian bulk exports of billets are recorded at 132,220 MT in Oct’17 against 126,300 MT in Sep’17.
JSW Steel has shipped major quantity about 40,000 MT followed by RINL at 35,580 MT, SAIL at 15,500 MT & Mono steel at 10,500 MT loaded from various Indian ports.
