State-owned leading long steel producer, Vizag Steel Plant, has scheduled an e-auction for around 3,500 t of pooled iron on 11 Aug’21. At the steelmaker’s previous pooled iron auction, conducted on 2 Aug’21, buyers booked 3,350 t at a weighted average price of INR 34,000/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bids increased by INR 350/t compared to the previous auction on 24 Jul.
