State-owned leading long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has invited bids for procurement of 10,500 t (5-20 mm) of sponge iron lump (direct reduced iron, Fe 93% min), as per latest reports. The bid-offer validity is for 120 days from the actual date of the opening of tender. The due date for submission of tender is 21 Jan’22 by 10:30 hrs (IST).
