Vizag Steel has increased wire rod prices by INR 500/t ($7) in specific regions w.e.f yesterday owing to limited availability. Current offer for 5.5 mm wire rod is assessed at INR 40,100/t, exy Chennai. Average buying inquiries have been observed along with some transactions, reliable trade associates shared with SteelMint. The company produced nearly 5 mn t crude steel in CY’19.
