Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a Navratna PSE under the ministry of steel, has invited a tender for export of 20,000 MT blooms.
As per the delivery schedule, the last date of the delivery period shall be 31 Apr’18. The offer given by the bidder will remain valid until 05 Apr’18.
The bidders have the option to quote for shipment either at Visakhapatnam port (VPT) or Ganagavaram port (GPL).For steel products other than WRC the FOB expense of VPT is Rs. 344.75 and for GPL is Rs. 270.39.

The length of Blooms is 12 meters approximately and packaging will be in loose.

Vizag Steel’s previous export tender for 40,000MT billet /bloom received good response. 65*65mm was concluded at around USD 535/MT, FoB India; 150*150mm at around USD 515-520/MT, FoB India, 75*75mm billet around USD 520-525/MT, FoB India and 200*200 mm at around USD 505/MT, FoB.
Global billet market updates:
1.Billet export offers from CIS nations have fallen marginally to USD 535-540/MT, FoB Black Sea
2.Iran billet export price assessment is around USD 530-535/MT, FoB. Iran’s KSC has recently sold 60,000MT billet at similar price levels to GCC countries.
3.Domestic billet prices in Indian domestic markets have come down. 125*125mm billets assessed at INR 34,000-34,200/t (ex-Mumbai), GST extra.
