Venkateshwara Rao Gorantla secured the Adwalpale-Moitem Mineral Block No. XVII in the Goa iron ore auction held on 22 Apr’26, emerging as the top bidder with a premium of 128%. The 113.2877-hectare block in North Goa holds 4.505 mnt of geological resources with an average grade of Fe 53.50%, along with 6.84 mnt of dump fines with recovery of Fe 32.5%.
