Vedanta scheduled an auction for sale of 2,000 t of iron ore pellets (Fe61.5%, 6-16mm) on 27 Sept’22 from Karnataka’s Chitradurga district. According to market sources, 1,000 t was booked at around INR 7,450/t. For the first time ever, the mining major has outsourced pellet production on an experimental basis.
