India: Vedanta’s lead output falls by 18% q-o-q in Q3FY23 due to plant shutdown

Vedanta has recorded refined lead production at 46,000 t in Q3FY23, down 18% q-o-q and 1% y-o-y, as per company release. Production dropped due to planned maintenance shutdown at Dariba lead plant in Q3.
The company’s aluminium output stood at 566,000 t in Q3, down marginally by 3% q-o-q and 2% y-o-y.
Meanwhile, its integrated zinc production was at 210,000 t, up 11% q-o-q and down 2% y-o-y.
