FACOR, a Vedanta subsidiary, held a ferro chrome auction on 10 Nov’22. The big and small lots of 10-150mm size were booked at H1 price of INR 102,450/t and INR 103,250/t ex-Jajpur respectively, close to the floor price. According to sources, due to the expectation of a further fall in ferro chrome prices in the coming weeks, the auction received limited participation.
