Vedanta subsidiary FACOR held a ferro chrome auction on 27 Oct’22. The H1 price for the bigger and smaller lots of 10-150 mm was INR 106,300/t and INR 106,400/t respectively. Bid prices were higher by 3% from the base price. The auction saw active participation as market participants were optimistic about a further increase in domestic ferro chrome prices.
