FACOR, a Vedanta subsidiary, held a ferro chrome auction on 1 Sept’22. The big and small lots of 10-150mm size were booked at INR 92,700/t and INR 92,800/t ex-Jajpur respectively, close to the floor price. According to sources, the auction received limited participation due to the expectation of a further fall in ferro chrome prices in the coming weeks.
