Vedanta’s Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL) conducted an auction for 20,000 t of iron ore CLO from Nadidih’s BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha on 4 Apr’24. The entire quantity of 10,000 t (5-18 mm, Fe 60%) got booked at INR 5,550/t against the base price of INR 5,050/t while another 10,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 61%) was booked at the base price of INR 5,050/t. Prices are on ex-mines/plot basis and inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
