Vedanta’s-Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL) had an auction for 50,000 t of iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61%) from Nadidih’s BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha on 29 Jan’24. According to sources, only 12,000 t CLO got booked at base price of INR 5,350/t. In its previous auction on 25 Jan’24, 2,000 t of CLO of same grade got booked at INR 5,550/t. Prices are on ex-mines/plot basis and inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
