Vedanta conducted an auction for 8,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe53.5%) from its A. Narrain Mines, Karnataka, on 28 May’24. The whole quantity was booked at the base price of INR 3,640/t. The price is on ex-mines/ex-lot basis and excludes royalty, DMF and NMET. In the previous auction on 24 May, 20,000 t of lumps (6-20 mm, Fe54-55%) were booked at INR 3,510-3,700/t.
