Vedanta will conduct two iron ore auctions from Karnataka. The first auction is for 100,000 t of fines (Fe57%) scheduled for 30 Aug’22 while the other auction for 36,000 t of lumps (Fe59.5%) is scheduled for 2 Sept’22. The materials for both the auctions are from its A. Narrain mines in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district. The floor prices for fines and lumps are INR 1,277/t and INR 3,701/t, respectively (excluding royalty, DMF & NMET).
