India: Vedanta named preferred bidder for AP’s Punnam manganese block

Vedanta has been declared the preferred bidder for the 152-hectare Punnam manganese block in Andhra Pradesh, currently at the G4 exploration stage. The bid follows a competitive e-auction conducted by the state. The final composite licence grant remains subject to regulatory approvals, performance guarantees, and the fulfilment of tender conditions outlined by the Department of Mines and Geology.
