India: Vedanta gets approval to process aluminium dross capacity of 30,000 t in Jharsuguda

Vedanta Ltd., Jharsuguda, has received consent from the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) to establish an aluminum dross plant with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes per annum with a project cost of INR 7.25 crores. It has also got consent for the installation of a cold dross processing unit on 15 Dec, 2022. Vedanta also have an aluminum smelter plant with a capacity of 1.75 mnt per annum.
