India’s leading merchant pig iron manufacturer, Vedanta Ltd., has floated a closed export tender for 30,000 t of steel grade pig iron, which is due on 3 Sept’21, SteelMint learnt from sources. The last pig iron export deal from India was concluded at around $515/t FoB in mid-Aug.
