Vedanta (FACOR) held an auction for ferro chrome on 24 Feb’22 which received bids close to the prevailing market price of INR 109,000/t ex-Jajpur, Odisha. The participants at the auction were anticipating a further hike in ferro chrome prices which resulted in an overall optimistic response. The H1 price for 10-150 mm high-carbon (HC) ferro chrome was INR 109,500-111,200/t exw Jajpur.
