Vedanta subsidiary Electrosteel Steels Ltd. (ESL) had scheduled an auction for around 120,000 t of iron ore fines and lump (both Fe 58-60%) on 31 May’22 from its Nadidih BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha’s Keonjhar district. According to market sources, the auction failed to fetch any response. The floor prices for fines and lump were INR 1,700/t and INR 3,700/t, respectively, including royalty, DMF and NMET.
