- Vedanta subsidiary Bokaro-based Electrosteel Steels Ltd. (ESL), conducted an auction for 3,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 10 Oct’22. The auction was concluded at around INR 44,400/t exw.
- Steel grade pig iron prices in the domestic market are under pressure on account of improved supply. Offers in Durgapur are hovering around INR 44,800-45,000/t exw, down INR 2,500/t m-o-m.
