- Vedanta-ESL conducted an auction for 1,800-2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 7 May’22. The auction was concluded at around INR 56,500-57,000/t exw-Bokaro, Jharkhand.
- Pig iron prices in the domestic market remained under pressure on improved supply, falling export realisations and declining steel prices. Current offers in Durgapur are reported at INR 57,000/t exw.
