Merchant pig iron manufacturer, Vedanta Ltd, had floated an export tender for 30,000 t of steel grade pig iron. The shipment was for Jan’22. According to sources, the tender has been canceled on bid-offer disparities. The company concluded the previous export tender for 45,000 t of steel grade pig iron for Dec’21 shipment at a price level of around $500/t on FOB basis.
