Small parcel trade of US 6900 kcal/kg NAR coal took place at INR 21,700/t at Tuna Port, down by INR 300/t w-o-w as traders offloaded old stock ahead of the monsoon. Cement players are the major buyers of US coal currently as they tend to cut down procurement during monsoon. A total of 0.37 mnt of US coal is set to arrive at Kandla Port in the upcoming week, CoalMint data showed.
