Portside prices of US 6900 NAR coal have declined by INR 500/t w-o-w to INR 22,000/t at Kandla Port amid limited buying appetite of end-users. Some brick kiln owners were heard to have bought US coal. However, bulk procurement remained weak amid elevated prices. Interest for US coal also remains lower due to a higher voyage time of 45-60 days, especially during a period of uncertainty in the international markets.
