Voicing the government’s vision of boosting value-added exports, Union Minister Piyush Goyal has said cutting down on raw materials- particularly iron ore-exports are the need of the hour. Iron ore exports to China, he said, are continuing, while China’s steel capacity far exceeds that of India. China could be conserving iron ore wealth, while low-grade iron ore exports from India are spiralling, he posted on Twitter.
