India: UltraTech Cement posts strong Q1FY’27 on higher sales volumes y-o-y, improved operating efficiency

UltraTech Cement reported a strong operational performance in Q1FY’27, driven by healthy domestic demand, improved capacity utilisation, and the integration of acquired assets. Cement sales volumes rose 13.1% y-o-y to 39.2 million tonnes (mnt), while revenue increased 16% to INR 24,465 crore. EBITDA rose 19% y-o-y to INR 4,764 crore, with EBITDA per tonne improving to INR 1,214 on stronger operating efficiency.
